Have you always admired a dancer's poise, without ever daring to step into a dance class? Ballet Workout brings together ballet, floor barre, Pilates and stretching in a unique class designed for adults.
The class is taught by our teacher Meredith Hudson. The fundamental movements of ballet are revisited in a fluid, accessible way: no performance, no academic demands, just a true moment of grace.

What Ballet Workout changes for you
A longer silhouette
Precise work tones the deep muscles (abs, glutes, back) and lengthens your lines, without shock or impact.
Elegant posture
Alignment, core strength, placement: you naturally stand taller and carry yourself with more assurance.
Flexibility and coordination
Deep, controlled stretches restore mobility and a noticeable ease of movement.
45 minutes of barre, floor work and stretching
The movements are guided, fluid and paced by soft music. The pace is moderate, but the work goes deep: you leave the session both relaxed and stronger.
Each session stands alone. Close-fitting clothing and socks or ballet slippers are all you need; the barre and mats are provided.
For anyone who wants to combine grace and tone
Ballet Workout is for you, whether you danced as a child or have never set foot in a studio. No dance background is needed: come as you are, and progress at your own pace.
Ballet Workout: everything you need to know
Do I need to have done ballet before?
Not at all. Ballet Workout is an accessible, modernised version of ballet, designed for adults of all levels.
How is it different from a traditional ballet class?
The class uses the fundamental movements of ballet (floor barre, placement, alignment) in a more fluid and accessible way, without academic demands.
Do I need to come every week to keep up?
No. Each session stands alone, although progress builds naturally over time.
What are the physical benefits?
Toned deep muscles, better posture and bearing, more flexibility, fluidity and coordination, and a slimmer figure.
Will this class build muscle?
Yes, subtly. The work intensely engages the postural and stabilising muscles: you tone and lengthen your body, with visible results.
Is it a slow or intense class?
The pace is moderate, but the work goes deep. It is not a cardio class: it is a gentle intensity that strengthens as much as it relaxes.
Do I need any special equipment?
No. Close-fitting clothing and socks or ballet slippers are all you need. Equipment is provided.
Is Ballet Workout included in the membership?
Yes. Ballet Workout is one of the group classes included in the Leaf Signature membership. We present the plan in detail during your personal consultation.
